For the Office

Blouse-Victoria's Secret (old), Skirt- Target's Mossimo (still available in stores), Shoes - Calvin Klein (old), Bag - Michael Kors Hamilton Large Tote http://www.michaelkors.com/p/MICHAEL-Michael-Kors-MICHAEL-Michael-Kors-Hamilton-Large-Tote/prod12670003/

I love pairing flowy blouses with sleek skirts, or sleek work pants. The combination is effortless while still looking polished and professional.  The colors of crisp orange, with bits of rich yellow and red go perfectly with black, or it could be paired with some skinny jeans for a more casual look. My favorite types of outfits are ones that are effortless, comfortable but still have a bit of glam to them. The shoes and the big, chunky belt definitely pull the look together.  Hope you enjoy and have a beautiful weekend! <3

Date Night in Black and White

Dress Forever21, Belt Gossip Boutiqe, Shoes Mango (old), Clutch Forever21, Bracelet Low Luv from Gilt Group

With fall nearing the corner, I am trying to take advantage of the last moments of warm weather to wear dresses and cute tops. This outfit is perfect for a date night or to wear to a fun, casual dinner with friends. You could also swap out the heels for some cute strappy sandals and a flowy cardigan for when the night gets chilly. I am in love with these Mango heels--they transform any outfit! I got these during late spring (had to get them off Ebay) and have since seen this style of heel everywhere! You can get some similar ones from Steve Madden and even Target carries a similar style for a great price! Seriously they're everywhere! I hope you enjoy the pictures and have a wonderful night!

I hope everyone had a great labor day weekend! My husband and I took a trip up to San Luis Obispo to enjoy some great weather and a bit of shopping. We took this windy road and it was seriously such a gorgeous drive! I wore a casual outfit although I think next time, I would definitely add a little belt to the skirt to jazz it up a bit. xxoo, Grace

Easy and Natural Makeup Look for Summer!

Hello there :)

This summer is flying by! I can't believe its almost September...which means time to bust out the boots, coats, cardigans and oh so pretty scarves! But lets not get ahead of ourselves--summer isn't officially over so today I come to you with an easy, fresh makeup look that literally only takes about 10 minutes! Follow these easy steps to achieve a goddess glow!

Please excuse the messy bed in the background! (oops!)

1) Skip the foundation and use a tinted moisturizer (you can do layers if you need a bit of extra coverage) My current favorite is Tarte's Amazonian Clay Tinted Moisturizer.  For a little more coverage, you can use a bit of concealer wherever you need it, I like MAC's studio finish concealer.

2) If you're oily (like me) set the tinted moisturizer with a sheer powder or a powder foundation--you only want to lightly sweep the powder over the t-zone to avoid getting too shiny. I love the Chanel Double Perfection Lumiere Mat Powder.

3) Fill in brows and tight-line your upper lash line with a brown eyeliner (this creates the illusion of thicker eyelash--hey we need all the help we can get right?!)

4) Swipe some of your favorite mascara--I'm currently loving Maybelline the Falsies

5) Bronze up! Sweep your favorite bronzer across the cheek bones, temples, and lightly over the nose

6) Add a peachy-pink blush (Nars Orgasm or MAC Pink Swoon are winners) this instantly warms up your complexion.

7) HIGHLIGHT - to get that summer glow, use a cream highlighter like MAC's cream color base in Hush or MAC's Soft and Gentle. Place the highlight across the tops of the cheek bones and brow bone.  Instant J-LO Glow!

8) Opt for a tinted lip balm, my all time favorites are the Clinique Chubby sticks in Mighty Mimosoa and Whole Lotta Honey!

And that's it! I hope you found this useful and thanks so much for stopping by!

Xoxo,
Grace
